this Friday, the 24th of July META-KAFE and kim? (the pilot-project of Latvian Contemporary Art Museum) is having yet another celebration at Spīķeri - our new residence! it is not yet an official opening... it is but another in the series of Play - this time in conjunction with the famous Future Shorts screenings! the cinema will be open-air on our terrace - entrance through the new premises of META-KAFE!
synchronized with another event - the opening of the new Museum's archives - we hold down a party atmosphere at META-KAFE already from 8 PM in the evening featuring Elvi Soulsystems and a very special guest - KRIS HOVEL!!! they've promised to take us on a musical journey from funked-up space disco to deep techno vibes!
we get familiar, then watch shorts, then get more familiar and have a little party into the night... that's the plan!
