Senior Developer

Since opening in 2013, Printful has been trusted to print 24M+ items while expanding to a team of 1,400+ employees worldwide. In just 7 years, our Engineering department has grown from a team of 5 to more than 120 IT experts. 

Our IT department is divided into smaller teams:

  • Core team—provides long-term technical solutions such as infrastructure, framework, libraries, processes, tools, guidelines, and best practices, as well as works on AI solutions
  • Merchant solutions—maintains our API, deploys new and existing ecommerce platforms, and works on other customer-facing features
  • Billing—responsible for all transactions, discounts, and everything else money-related
  • Fulfillment & Stock—makes sure every order from our customers is successfully sent to the Printful system and our production machines  
  • Mockup Generator—works on our design and mockup tool to make sure our customers can create all their design ideas without a hitch
  • Shipping, Warehousing & Fulfillment, and a number of other teams in charge of Printful's services and tool

We're looking for someone who's up to the challenge to work in a large-scale company and will use their knowledge and experience to implement new ideas and features. Here are the skills you'll need as a Senior Developer at Printful:

  • 5+ years in PHP development
  • experience in mentoring / training teammates
  • expert knowledge in MySQL queries, database design, and optimization
  • experience with building scalable backends
  • desire to learn and master new technologies
  • initiative and active participation in project development
  • analytical approach to problem-solving
  • proficiency in AWS or Azure cloud services
  • excellent command of English

Tools/services we use every day for backend programming:

  • PHP 7.4, MySQL, PHPUnit
  • Yii2 PHP Framework
  • Various AWS services
  • GIT
  • Docker

Technologies we commonly use for frontend development:

  • JavaScript (EcmaScript 2019+)
  • Vue.js

  • ESLint
  • Webpack and Babel
